Local show bringing people together to celebrate Disability Pride Month
A local show is celebrating Disability Pride Month by bringing together vendors, artists, performers, and authors at Fairway Seniors Community on Concession Road in Preston this Thursday.
Last July, creator of (dis)ABILITIES Unleashed CJ Janzen had searched around for local events happening for Disability Pride Month and found nothing.
“I got sad, I got mad, and then I decided to become the change I wanted to see in the world,” she said.
