Local trucking firm takes unique approach to new location
A local company has thought outside the box for the design of its new head office to make it more appealing to its employees and neighbours.
Vision Truck Group was founded in Cambridge in 1966 and has since expanded into other cities in Ontario.
Vision Truck Group president John Slotegraaf says that as the company continues to grow, designing and planning a new space was a “no brainer” while also remaining in Cambridge.
The new building at 1775 Bishop St. N. challenges the traditional design of a head office. It has skylights that will let in a lot of natural light in the building but most strikingly, it’s primarily made of glass and timber.
